Hutchison Seizes Port Botany Contract
Hong Kong-based Hutchison Port Holdings has won the contract to operate Sydney’s new third container facility at Port Botany when it’s completed in 2012 – giving the terminal giant a presence in 50 ports worldwide
Hutchison edged out DP World and the Asciano Group’s Patrick Stevedores to add Botany to its Australian portfolio, which already includes Brisbane’s third terminal at Fisherman Islands’ berths 11 and 12, due to open in 2012 and 2014.
